Clem & Simms Fire Starters is a brand operated by Clem & Simms Woodworks Inc. (“Clem & Simms”), a Canadian corporation offering handcrafted fire starters made from Canadian cedar sawdust and natural beeswax, along with related accessories including fire starter tins, mini stoves, and mugs.

All products are handmade in Canada using premium, locally sourced materials and are subject to availability. Product images and descriptions are provided for reference purposes only. Due to the handmade nature of our products, minor variations in color, texture, and packaging may occur.

2. Ordering Process

• Orders are placed through our official online store at cedarfirestarters.ca.

• Customers must provide accurate billing, shipping, and contact information at checkout.

• Orders are processed once payment is received in full.

• Clem & Simms reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at its sole discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory discrepancies.

3. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice.

• Accepted payment methods include major credit cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, and other payment options supported by Shopify.

• Applicable federal and provincial taxes are charged in accordance with Canadian law.

4. Shipping and Delivery

• Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout and vary based on destination and order size.

• Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days. Delivery times may vary due to weather conditions, carrier delays, or high-volume periods.

• Clem & Simms is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage once the shipment has been transferred to the carrier.

• Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses may incur additional shipping fees.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products (flammable materials):

• Returns and exchanges are only accepted for unused, unopened, and undamaged items within 14 days of delivery.

• To initiate a return or refund request, please email cedarfirestarter@gmail.com with your proof of purchase and product photos.

• Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

• Shipping fees are non-refundable.

• Clearance, promotional, and custom bundle items are final sale.

6. Safety Disclaimer

• Fire starters are intended for outdoor use or controlled indoor environments such as fireplaces and stoves.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets. Use only as directed.

• Clem & Simms shall not be liable for injuries, losses, or damages caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow safety instructions.
