I absolutely love Clem & Simms cedar sawdust fire starters. When my order arrived, I was a bit surprised at how small they were, but oh do they ever work! Just got my fire starter a few days ago, every fire since has been a 1 match start. Will be buying more.

I am so impressed with these fire starters. I used one to start my wood stove. Normally I use birch bark but decided to give this a try. I set up pieces of dry wood. No kindling! I lit the brick and set it between the wood. Voila! It burned much longer than 10 minutes and my fire was started. I will only need these for the spring and fall when I am not burning constantly. I won’t have the mess now of keeping birch bark on hand. I highly recommend these!
